B"H, 21Tammuz, 5710

Greetings and blessings,

Your letter of 13 Tammuz was received. Nevertheless, before [receiving it], the kuntres of the Festival of Redemption, [Yud-Beis Tammuz,] was sent to your [previous] address, to .... Surely it has already reached you in your present place.

Your pan was received earlier and was read at the gravesite of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, hk"m, on Yud-Beis Tammuz and again in his room where [chassidim] would enter for yechidus and for giving a pan.Certainly, he has granted his blessings and the Holy One, blessed be He, will fulfill them in a complete sense. Certainly, from time to time, you will notify [me] of the improving health of your wife and that she is fulfilling the directives of the doctors regarding what she eats and drinks and the like.

With regard to your question about whether she may go out wearing a wig without a covering over it: Without entering into the essence of the matter, why should she make a change of this nature or one like it in the midst of a pregnancy? What is most important is that the period of her pregnancy pass in a proper manner, without pain, that the birth be easy, at the appropriate time, and viable. Afterwards, she may ask about the above.

With wishes for all forms of everlasting good and with regards to all of our fellowship,

Rabbi Menachem Schneerson
