No. 634*

This letter was addressed to R. Michael Lipsker, who had been sent by the Rebbe on a mission to Morocco.[560]
B"H, the first day of Rosh Chodesh Tammuz, 5710

Greetings and blessings,

In response to your letter of 16 Sivan:

Do not worry about elaborating in your letters, because all of the details in the situation as a whole and your activities in particular are of interest to me. You will undoubtedly continue to inform me regularly about everything in detail.

Our friend R. Benyamin Gorodetzky[561] informed me that he sent you more money. [Soon] you will certainly see each other face to face and you will be able to discuss future [plans]. It is a shame that getting a visa for R.B.G.[562] has taken so long....

Yesterday, when I was at the gravesite of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, hk"m, I mentioned you, [asking] for success in your work in North Africa. One may rest assured that the shepherds of Israel will not separate themselves from their flock. Just as until now they stood and served, so, too, they [will continue] serving in the future, drawing down blessing and success in all the handiwork of those associated with them and in particular, those who are fulfilling their mission in all that is possible, with success in material and spiritual matters.

With blessings for greet success,

Rabbi Menachem Schneerson
