No. 569

This letter was sent to R. Benyamin Gorodetzky, a chassid who headed the office for the aid of refugees which received financial assistance from the Joint Distribution Committee and who coordinated Lubavitch activities in France and North Africa.
B"H, 17 Adar, 5710

Greetings and blessings,

I received a letter from R. Michael Lipsker, stating that he is prepared to fulfill the desire of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, hk"m, and begin educational activities in [North] Africa.

Enclosed is a copy of my response to him. He will certainly now turn to you. Please discuss [the issues with him] in detail according to the general guidelines we spoke about here. Try [to see] that the actual work begins at the earliest opportunity.

With regard to the telegram concerning the door: It appears that there are large doorposts, but the person has not yet come.[273]

With wishes for all forms of everlasting good,

M. Schneerson
